Huge thanks go out to the two people who helped me make this happen! Hugh & Alida Sullivan made the magic happen behind the camera and Hugh played the role of my COD buddy on the phone. More info will come with this as I hear more from the Life in a Day staff.
Life in a Day Filming starts today!
Jul 24th
July 24th 2010 is here and filming has been completed on my Life in a Day project. Thanks to my good friends Hugh & Alida Sullivan we were able to film this evening dispite the humid airs and ended up making a very nice piece to submit to Mr. MacDonald for his film. This film will be played at the Sundance Film Festival and whomever’s entries get picked to be featured will have there names credited to the movie as co-directors and a lucky 20 of those folks will have the opportunity to get closer to the creators and the film. So without further explanation I will leave you to the video short and provide you with a link to more information about what this really is. Enjoy!

Fraggs.net “Video Review” Intro
Jul 9th
Here is an intro I made for my good friend at Fraggs.net. The concept just seemed to come to me when Mike told me video review intro… I dived into this mindless to the outcome and after about an hour had a rough concept worked out. From there this intro took off on its own. I started the modeling and camera movement in Cinema 4D, which is a great modeling program if you do not already know. After the render of two separate movie files I added the bling or “special effects” by using After Effects. (Note: When rendering in After Effects it’s a good idea to use Render Queue) Lastly, the sound was added and the intro was rendered final in Premiere.
If you too have interest in such project and/or programs please comment on this post and let me know your thoughts. I would love to hear feedback and perhaps meet a fellow artist. Enjoy the intro and keep being creative!
Been doing a bit of work
Jul 2nd
Well aside from my daily activities at the wonderful Herald&Review I am also taking part as a staff member to Fraggs.net as I have mentioned in past post. It’s odd though, that I sit at work all day making ads for wealthy individuals while getting paid “not so much” and for the most part dislike it most days. I can’t complain though… It pays the bills (sort of) and that’s all I care about.
On the other side of things I have been finding myself at home, away from the work yet still I work. It’s a different feeling though when you are making things that not only will be seen and appreciated by the person requesting it, but will also be seen by people just like me! GAMERS… It’s very rewarding to have this feeling of being wanted for my talents and I love to see that Mike has been IMing me about more work that needs to be done as soon as i sit down at home. It let’s me know he likes what I do and that he trusts in my abilities. Now I don’t want to sound like these kind of emotions don’t carry into my actual place of work because the guys I work for in online ads are top-notch fellas! They are always giving me praise and I really do appreciate them and their kind words of encouragement and thanks. Again though, doing the work for FraggsNET feels like more of a passion since it is what I enjoy the most as a hobby. So when you finish browsing around here please take a look at Fraggs.net and see what all the fuss is about!
