Video Accepted for Life in a Day!!

Just received an e-mail today confirming my video acceptance to Life in a Day! I was so excited!!
Huge thanks go out to the two people who helped me make this happen! Hugh & Alida Sullivan made the magic happen behind the camera and Hugh played the role of my COD buddy on the phone. More info will come with this as I hear more from the Life in a Day staff.
Life in a Day Filming starts today!

July 24th 2010 is here and filming has been completed on my Life in a Day project. Thanks to my good friends Hugh & Alida Sullivan we were able to film this evening dispite the humid airs and ended up making a very nice piece to submit to Mr. MacDonald for his film. This film will be played at the Sundance Film Festival and whomever’s entries get picked to be featured will have there names credited to the movie as co-directors and a lucky 20 of those folks will have the opportunity to get closer to the creators and the film. Progressing Nicely

Site progression has been great so far! WordPress has really given me a simple and time effective way to create a site that I not only look forward to updating, but can do so quickly and painlessly. I’ll admit I have had a great deal of help from my good friend Mike Ireland over at fraggs.net with some of the more simple yet to a beginner ”complex” stages of working with WordPress. I have yet to dive into the endless amounts of plug-ins and widgets offered to users, but I’m just getting into this people! I’m also loving the ease in which I can manipulate my page to my liking with a change in code while not having to pull my curly hair out of my head doing so. More-so I really think this page is going to be a great hub for some of the work I have done and will do in the future. Building a portfolio from scratch and keeping it up to date was just to much work for me to do on top of working the standard 8 hour day and coming home to a house that has it’s own responsibilities AKA Family 
I’ve added a couple of new links and even customized a simple header for the page within a matter of minutes so far. In time, more links will come and the look of the site will most likely change as I learn more about how far I can take this little project of mine.
On a side note, I have been helping Mike with some graphic work for FraggsNET. This has been great fun and hopefully will “pay” off with patience. He has really taken his site to new levels in the past few months by adding his own APP to the iTunes store, publishing a podcast in which I contribute to and the ideas that flow out of this man’s head are endless. I’m very happy to be working with him and some of the other Fraggers on the site.
It’s about 1:30am central here and I’m leaning on my desk typing away in order to stay awake at this late hour. I think it’s about time for me to take these thoughts to bed with me and see what I can or can’t kick out on my next post. Goodnight all!
Starting a New

Welcome to the NEW adamcasner.com!
Since 2003 anyone who has visited this site has had to put up with a site built solely around Flash. That means we can’t see the site with an iPhone, we have load times and for God’s sake shut that music off! Anyway, your here yet again and seeing a new format. This could only mean one thing of course! Yes, I’m going to start managing this site again!
In the future viewers can look forward to many new things that the old dust covered site did not have. Number one being content.. I plan to fill this site with more content ranging from any graphic work I might be doing, thoughts, photos, gaming news and of course plugging some other sites I help out with such as FraggsNET and my place of work the Herald&Review.
I would also like to build this site out into other areas such as a personal portfolio and freelance hub. More on that later.. Until next post, good day!
